Security forces have announced the successful completion of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan, conducted through coordinated, swift, and intelligence-driven operations against Indian-sponsored terrorist elements aiming to disrupt peace and development by targeting civilians. On 29 January 2026, operations began in Panjgur and the outskirts of Harnai District after verified intelligence confirmed an imminent threat. During this phase, forces targeted identified hideouts, resulting in the elimination of 41 terrorists affiliated with proxy networks. In response, brave security forces repelled desparate attacks of Fitna al Hindustan seeking to destabilize peace. Following this, a broader, intelligence-based campaign expanded to multiple areas to dismantle sleeper cells through sustained combing and sanitisation. Through meticulous planning, actionable intelligence, and seamless joint execution by Pakistan's Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies with support of Intelligence Agencies, the operation was carried out under the National Action Plan.
As a result of engagements and clearance operations, 216 terrorists were neutralised, degrading leadership, command-and-control, and operational capabilities. A large cache of foreign-origin weapons, ammunition, explosives and equipment was recovered, with preliminary analysis indicating systematic external facilitation and logistical support to extremist proxies. Tragically, the operations claimed the lives of 36 civilians, including women and children, and 22 security personnel were martyred. Their sacrifice is honored by the nation, and the Pakistan Armed Forces remain steadfast in their resolve to combat terrorism and ensure territorial integrity, with the fight continuing until complete elimination of threats. The operation underscores a commitment to peace, unity, and development across Balochistan.
Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 stands as a testament to the resilience and unity of the Pakistani people, reflecting a steadfast commitment to peace, development, and security in the region.
